Over the weekend, designer Heron Preston made his NYFW debut and toasted the milestone with an afterparty in Boom at The Standard, High Line. The star-studded evening included models, designers and creatives—who clinked glasses of Tequila Don Julio 1942. Among the guests were Vic Mensa, Jordyn Woods and Denzel Dion—as well as Heron Preston, Alton Mason, Anok, SuperKid, Siobhan Ball, Jodie Woods, Hannah Bronfman, Brendan Fallis, Athena Calderone and Dascha Polanco.
DJs Omar-S, C.FRIM, and Estrella spun into the morning hours as the fashion set found their groove. Heron's show—loosely titled Anything Goes!—drew wearable inspiration from cityscapes.
“I look at cities as layers of materials,” Preston told GQ. “How do I kind of adopt these found objects and readymades and incorporate those into the collection just to have some fun?”
