Born in New York, and raised in Puerto Rico, during his childhood, Chef Ricardo developed a passion for cooking watching cooking shows on TV. This led him to work in various local restaurants before attending New England Culinary Institute in Vermont. From there he worked at Caneel Bay Resort in St. John, USVI. That adventure led him to Florida where he worked at Mark's Las Olas for Chef Mark Militello who is considered one of the fathers of Florida cuisine. From there, Ricardo worked at numerous restaurants and hotels including Nobu, Sushi Samba, and Doraku Sushi among others. After several years in the Four Seasons hotel in Orlando, Ricardo worked as a private chef. Now, he’s crafting up spins of the classics for us.
