Manager, Beach Club Operations

Job Purpose:

The Manager, Beach Club Operations is responsible for all operations of the Beach Club. The Manager must coordinate a variety of activities, including but not limited to managing stock levels; running daily and weekly reports; managing and communicating with staff; and managing sales. This role will ensure efficient and profitable management of the Beach Club while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

-  Develop and execute a strategy plan to ensure the profitability and growth, while achieving the highest level of brand & quality standards, customer satisfaction and bringing creativity and variety to our food & beverage offerings in a sustainable manner.

-  Oversee the daily operations including but not limited to, managing staff, budgeting, revenue management, inventory management, and maintaining high-quality customer service standards in an environmentally responsible way, with the goal to achieve the budget revenues, profit and food & beverage costs while maintaining the quality of menus with sustainable ingredients and sourcing practices.

-  You will be working closely with Sales & Marketing to create and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to maximize the business results and customer loyalty.

-  Foster and maintain relationships to achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service to key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, contractors and local authorities, while also promoting sustainable practices throughout the community.

-  Constantly stimulate the team in connecting with local partners to fulfill F&B, events and activities at club and build good relationships with local community.

-  You will be in control of manpower management of your team and staffing the hotel appropriately, maintain the team member performance and development at the high standards to continuously improve their performance in exceeding customers satisfaction and teams goal.

-  Implement and monitor standard operating procedures and policies to ensure efficient operations and take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety and security of the guests, employees and visitors at all times, as well as ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including environmental regulations.

-  Hygiene! you will ensure that your team maintains the highest standards of uniform, personal presentation and hygiene. Work areas are kept clean, in an orderly state and hygiene while also implementing sustainable practices throughout our operations.

-  Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations to remain competitive.

   Work collaboratively with shared services at Brand Office including accounting, sales & marketing and all department managers to make sure operations are running smoothly in tandem with one another.

 Physical Requirements:

 -  More than 5 years experience in a similar role, with expertise in F&B and events operations.

-  Strong leadership and people management skills and training skills with a hands on solution-focused approach.

-  Willing to roll up your sleeves and extend work shifts if needed, working alongside with the team.

-  Manage the quality and passion for personalized service for casual-luxury travelers.

-  Comfortable with strategies and numbers, as well as day-to-day details.

-  Able to present, pull reports, compare performance and keep everyone up to date and on track.

-  Have the mindset of a mentor to develop and the support team, creating an environment where the team can to be the best of themselves and stepping up in their roles.

-  Able to delegate well.

-  Be resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing business needs.

-  Familiar with computer systems. 

-  Keen to learn new technology and able to adapt quickly into various digital systems.

-  Have empathy, genuinely keen in reaching out to guests, team, suppliers and the community.

-  Fluent in English and a second language is preferable.

-  Motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seize opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve personal performance.

-  Thorough knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labour controls, beverage menu writing, maintenance, merchandising, computer and accountings. 

-  Strong interpersonal skills and attention to details. 

-  Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations including food, beverages, supervisory aspects, 

service techniques, and guest interaction. 

-  Considerable skills in math and algebraic equations using percentages. 

-  Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems. 

-  Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
