We're looking for CDP and Commis Chefs who are passionate about all things cooking, with a good working knowledge of kitchen operations, Asian cuisine and order of service, along with a deep appreciation of quality food and proven knowledge of production and cooking techniques.

Duties & Responsibilities  

• Contribute to the execution of all daily culinary operations.
• Ability to thrive in a busy high-volume, high-energy kitchen environment and can manage multiple tasks with ease. 
• A proven track record in a high-quality commercial kitchen.
• Demonstrate professional culinary & food safety skills and qualifications.
• Display a highly motivated and pro-active attitude, act with professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
• Multi-task and demonstrate excellent time management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Prepare all mise-en-place requirements and food required by the Senior Chefs on duty.
• Maintain a clean, safe working area at all times.
• Comply with all Hotel Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant occupational Health and safety procedures including a knowledge of HACCP.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

• Innovative and creative approach to cooking.
• Experience with Asian cuisine.
• Thorough understanding of food safety requirements.
• Hold appropriate qualifications in commercial cookery.
• Thrive in a busy, team environment.
• Be a good communicator and open to sharing feedback and ideas.
• Flexible with working hours including weekends.
