NYFW Diaries: RAISEfashion Presents Fresh Design Voices

To kick off NYFW at The Standard, very special guests got a glimpse of the future of fashion. We partnered with design incubator RAISEfashion on a showcase and reception for emerging fashion talent. Industry insiders, media and fashion lovers met visionary designers from the RAISE Brand Fellowship Program, who showed their Spring 2024 collections.

Through the program, RAISE selected eight BIPOC designers to receive a $15,000 grant and gain key insights and strategies for building a successful brand. The benefits are explosure to the RAISE network, as well as tools to operationalize growth in the fashion industry.

A daytime presentation led to cocktails and conversation in The High Line Room. The crowd mixed, mingled and made meaningful connections. Meanwhile in the High Line shop, RAISEfashion unveiled a pop-up retail experience you can shop in person through September 12.

Two RAISE designers—ÁWET and Cotte D’Armes—just dropped collaborations with The Standard for the new season. AWET’s bold yet minimal hoodie is a perfect complement to Cotte D’Armes’ statement-making varsity jacket, and you can get them in The Standard Shop.

Fresh voices and innovative looks were on full display at The Standard—here’s a peek at the future…
