A solo piano series feat. James Weidman 
James Weidman is one of the most versatile pianists in the world of music. He has performed with the likes of Abbey Lincoln and Joe Lovano, and plays classical and atonal music. With a player as talented as Weidman, it's no wonder the press used terms such as "unfailingly lyrical," "convivially assertive," and "exquisite" to describe him.

David Bryant Trio
New York pianist, composer and multi-instrumentalist David Bryant is a world-class artist who combines his extensive knowledge of the jazz tradition and other diverse musical idioms with an individualistic approach and sound. He has recently recorded projects with Steve Davis, Myron Walden, and Abraham Burton and is currently recording and performing various projects of his own.

Tyler Blanton Trio
Vibraphonist and composer Tyler Blanton is becoming recognized as a rising star in the New York City jazz scene. Over the past five years, his work has received reviews by numerous major publications, including DownbeatJazztimesVillage Voice, and The New York Times. A native of California, Blanton has performed and conducted workshops throughout the U.S. and Asia. His 2010 debut album, Botanic, was chosen as a top album of the year by both Hot House Magazine and Village Voice's critic polls.

Ryan Weisheit Trio
NYC-based saxophonist and clarinetist Ryan Weisheit began studying saxophone at the age of ten. He studied with the legendary alto saxophonist and educator Bunky Green at the University of North Florida, where he was able to perform with some of the greatest living jazz musicians, including Dave Brubeck, Slide Hampton, Kenny Garrett, and many more. In 2017 he joined the St. Louis-based Americana band, Pokey LaFarge. He also has his own 1920s and '30s swing band, Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers.

Takuya Nakamura Group
Takuya Nakamura was born in Japan and moved to New York in the 90s. A multi-instrumentist, composer, and producer, he is considered a pioneer of the sci-fi du noir genre, which is a mix of lo-fi, jazz analog, and space techno. He has collaborated with musicians like Coco Rosie, The Brooklyn Gypsies GZA of Wu-Tang Clan, David Byrne, Laurie Anderson, Quincy Jones, and many more.

The Smoke Rings
The Smoke Rings evoke the elegance and charm of the swing era. Anchored by the unique vocals of Sarah King, the group specializes in songs from The Great American Song Book. The Smoke Rings have played to huge crowds at festivals and for the past six years, the band has been performing weekly at Top of The Standard.

Hyuna Park Trio
Born in Masan, South Korea, in 1984, pianist Hyuna Park started receiving formal training at the age of three. As a young jazz pianist in Korea, Park enjoyed a successful career, becoming known to many as the pianist of the Korean TV show Infinie Challenge. She moved to New York City in 2010, where she attended Queens College and graduated in 2011 with a master's degree in Jazz Performance. Since then, Park has become an integral part of the NYC jazz scene, performing with Grammy winners Antonio Hart, Vincent Herring, Luis Bonilla, Linda Oh, and with the bands A Mighty Good Thing, The John Yao Big Band, The Suhee Choi Band, The Redbirds, and of course her own band, the Hyuna Park Project.

Kelly Green Trio 
Kelly Green is an up-and-coming jazz pianist vocalist who currently resides in Harlem, New York City. Born and raised in Florida, she started piano lessons at age seven, became interested in jazz at eleven. and began attending the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Workshop every year with her father, who is a professional bass player. Kelly has performed at notable clubs and venues such as Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, Apollo Theater, Minton's, and Smalls Jazz Club. She recorded her debut jazz album, Life Rearranged, in 2016.

Dario Boente Trio
Immersed in the culture of tango and jazz, Argentine pianist and composer Dario Boente is a musician who is equally at home performing romantic Argentine and jazz compositions on a grand piano as he is programming world-beat electronica. Since moving to NYC in 1999, Dario has released ten albums and compilations and worked with world-class jazz musicians such as Antonio Sanchez, Ronny Jordan, and Fernando Otero, and DJs such as Louie Vega and Kerri Chandler.

Michael Louis-Smith Group
Guitarist Michael-Louis Smith is a top-tier bandleader and recording artist who has toured nationally at major venues such as LA’s Troubadour Club, NYC’s legendary Apollo Theater, and Vermont’s Discover Jazz Festival. He will be performing alongside NYC saxophonist Stacy Dillard and their quartet.

Antoine Drye Quartet
Born in Washington, D.C., Antoine Drye began playing trumpet at the age of eight. Marching bands and wind ensembles accounted for much of his early playing until 1988, when he was accepted into the trumpet studio of Raymond Mase at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC. He lived in New Orleans and Paris before moving to New York. Known as “The Beast on the Brass,” he has worked with the likes of Delfeayo, Ellis, and Jason Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon, Wilson Pickett, Paul Simon, Daniel Lanois, The Brand New Heavies, and many others.

Mariella

Mariella is a soulful vocalist and mainstay of the New York City circuit. Her masterful song writing have earned her accolades worldwide including being named Billboard World Song writing Contest grand prize winner in 2008, and John Lennon Song writing Contest honorable mention. She is also the co-creator and co-host of one of NYC’s longest running and most critically acclaimed hip-hop jam session, Freestyle Mondays.

Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers
Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers seamlessly incorporate elements of Dixieland, Harlem swing, Parisian cabaret, and gut bucket blues into one charming musical performance. Saxophonist Ryan Weisheit reimagines a world where Sidney Bechet, Lester Young, and Charlie Parker blow side-by-side. Together Sweet Megg, Ryan, and all the Wayfarers create a world where jazz is alive and living in New York.

Rob Duguay's SONGEVITY Trio featuring Bruce Barth
Our curator, bassist Rob Duguay, brings SONGEVITY Trio, a world class amalgamation of musicians from different backgrounds that fuse together different styles of music, and the result is resounding joy! Elmore Magazine said of their recent album, Safe in Sound: "Rock, world, hard bop, and street are all putty in this energetic trio's imagination and performance."
