With 180 guestrooms (plus 20 residences), the modern, new-build project features many stages for The Standard's renowned day- and nightlife. A ground-floor greenhouse welcomes guests and locals into the lobby lounge, restaurant, and terrace. Upstairs, The Rooftop features its own restaurant, bar and garden—set to become a neighbourhood destination. Throughout the building, additional public and private event spaces are platforms for happenings.

The Standard, Brussels will welcome a new set of creative, dynamic guests into the brand ethos. In Brussels, The Standard's signature mix of playful, sophisticated, unexpected hospitality finds roots and resonances in local culture. We are defined by our richness of personality, diversity of background and lifestyle and are now looking for a Revenue Manager who will embody our 'Anything but Standard' ethos as we commence our pre-opening period.

Your role

As our Revenue Manager, you will work in partnership with our Regional Director of Revenue, General Manager and Senior Executive team to oversee the Revenue function of our new property in Brussels. You will assume overall responsibility for creating and driving our Revenue strategy across the hotel; from the production of our detailed day by day budget and annual plan, to our weekly forecast for the business. You'll review and set weekly and daily pricing strategies to ensure this aligns with our pace of demand and competitors, implementing yield management techniques to maximise sales and grow RGI. Over the longer term you will play a key role in defining our annual sales plan across all market segments in order to increase market share, average rate and RevPAR.

A key aspect of your role will be the management of our inventory across all our distribution channels, making sure that these are optimised and managed accordingly. You will also work closely with our Sales and Marketing team to develop packages and specials which engage and excite our guests by offering something a little bit different and that is anything but Standard! With the support of our Reservations Manager, you will manage a small team of Reservations Sales Agents, which you will be responsible for coaching and developing to ensure the overall revenue strategy are met and in line with the hotels' wider sales objectives.

The production of statistics and reporting is an important part of your role, as you will provide both our ownership, corporate team and hotel leadership with a range of weekly and monthly reports to support wider business decisions.

The Standard, Brussels will be our third property in Europe and you will help develop our wider sales and revenue development strategy within the region to target key markets travelling inbound to Brussels along with future pan-European business leads for all Standard properties.
