Caitriona Balfe working with the elements.
John Keats once said that, "the poetry of the earth is never dead.” Photographer James Houston would like to keep it that way. After the incredible success of his Move Book which raised over half a million dollars for AIDS research, Houston has turned his lens to the environment with his multimedia project, Natural Beauty. "I want to bring a bit of sexy back to environmental awareness," he described in the first web-isode showcasing the making-of the environmentally styled, supermodel/celebrity-filled photography book. Participants include Adrian Grenier, Emma Watson, Christy Turlington, Karlie Kloss, Arizona Muse, and Anja Rubik. Created in partnership with The Standard, High Line's neighbor MILK and Mother Nature's god-children Global Green USA, Houston's series of nature-filled portraits have no trouble finding any of the earth's poetry. "The environment is a gift we can't afford to take for granted," Houston states. "We all need to do our part to protect it."
