What did guests experience on the night?
Everything they’ve ever dreamt of in regards to Afrobeats. A great time and leave with songs stuck in their head and for those who've never heard of Afrobeat, hopefully the left with an indescribable joy for the next 48 hours.
What influences your style when creating new music?
I usually like to record my live performances to reflect on the journey, find my best moments and use that to inspire new material. The best part, for me, is the exchange between me and the audience, its a back and forth of giving and receiving.
What are your thoughts on performing in a place like Decimo, where you’re eating, dining and listening to music whilst doing it?
I've always thought that music and dining complement each other... eating and mellowing down to the music, chewing to the beat, I love it.
If you were hosting a dinner party, what one song is a must play?
There are many classics that come to mind, it depends on the dinner party...feel the energy and play something from there. Okay, are we done now? Let's party! Cheers everyone.
