'Twas the night before New York Fashion Week: we joined forces with our friends at Vogue Club for a celebratory sunset soirée to kick it off.
At last, September is here. Sleepy summer days have been replaced with the city's familiar pulse of happenings, beginning with none other than NYFW. Vogue Club members, designers, and editors made headway to The Penthouse at The Standard, East Village for "Meet the Founder", a series helmed by British Vogue's Fashion Features Director Julia Hobbs. This Fashion Week edition spotlighted Devon Lee and Sydney Lynn Carlson of Wildflower Cases. They divulged their founding story (impressively including support from Miley Cyrus!) and offered up entrepreneurial advice. Afterwards, DJ Isan Elba of Les Filles curated a golden hour soundtrack, as guests mixed, mingled, and took home complimentary phone cases.
