In the spirit of giving back, The Standard, London launches our very own take on the traditional advent calendar taking it all the way to the new year. Featuring a blend of familiar, nostalgic elements infused with op-art inspired graphics, cosmic colour palettes, and dazzling reflective surfaces, the main act this year will be the grand display on the front facade with 31 illuminated windows counting down to the new year.
Throughout December, lucky guests staying in the corresponding room of the giant advent calendar will experience a daily dose of festive magic, receiving a cluster of bonkers-brilliant gifts from selected brands that The Standard cherishes. Guests could be surprised with gifts from brands such as Vyrao, Eliou, Irregular Sleep Pattern, PlayType, Matter Matters, Ripple+, Caran d’Ache, Bleach London, RéVive, School of Life, J.Lindeberg, Trip, Black Lines and more. The Standard, London has also partnered with youth homelessness charity Centrepoint this festive season, by donating £1 per room night and restaurant across the month of December.
