F&B Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Possesses personality and flair executing daily tasks.
- Attend all necessary communication meetings.
- Have a thorough understanding of the outlet's concept and food and beverage offerings, and are able to explain it to the guests.
- Oversee and perform daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure mise en place is completed between shifts and during service for efficient operations, including front and back of house cleaning tasks, as well as polishing and assembling equipment.
- Operate and train others on using the point of sales system for processing food and beverage orders.
- Consistently up-sell services and products to guests, enhancing their experience and increasing revenue.
- Perform and train others on billing tasks according to hotel standards and cashiering policies.
- Properly handle and maintain all outlet equipment and utensils, ensuring they are in good condition and all areas maintain a first-class visual impact, including ambiance, cleanliness, orderliness, and décor.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Purchasing team for ordering and deliveries.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the manager, oversee and manage shifts effectively, provide direction and support to all restaurant colleagues, schedule shifts, manage attendance, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Maintain and ensure the highest standard of personal appearance and cleanliness. Follow the guidelines that are provided.
- Monitors guest satisfaction and ensure a service-oriented culture focusing on the guests’ needs. Maintain a strong guest relationship and notify your direct reports when problems or complaints occur.
- Follow and ensure compliance of guidelines of health and safety surrounding the responsible service of alcohol.
- Ensure team product knowledge is maintained, updated and regularly tested.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service standards.
- Encourage a positive work environment and foster teamwork.
- Build and maintain relationships with regular guests.
- Solicit guest feedback to improve services and address areas of concern.
- Organise and oversee special events and promotions.
- Assist the management team to carry out training activities of the outlet including, role plays and on the job trainings.
- Be committed to being a team player; proactively cooperating and supporting colleagues and superiors in operational tasks.
Other Responsibilities

- Be well versed in the hotel’s fire and life safety emergency procedures
- Maintain the highest standard of personal appearance and cleanliness
- Perform other duties assigned by the management
- Follow guidelines of health and safety surrounding the responsible service of alcohol
- Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP & FIFO)
Knowledge and Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School "O" Level, "N" Level or higher / Pre-U / A level / College, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Food & Beverage / Professional Certificate/NiTEC.
- Relevant experience as a supervisor in a similar luxury hotel or free-standing restaurant capacity providing customer service for a minimum of 2 years’.
- Excellent verbal, reading and written communication skills
- Ability to understand effective approaches of communication with different individuals and able to support restaurant servers throughout their daily duties
- Familiar with restaurant point of sales and cashiering procedures is preferred

Successful candidates will be assigned to either Lobby Lounge or Pool Bar, depending on experience.
