Not your grandmother's silk scarf. Or maybe, it is. Who are we to judge your grandma's taste in scarves? #coolgrandmas
Servers at The Standard Plaza wearing their Wes Lang scarves
We had Brooklyn-based artist Wes Lang design this silk twill scarf for The Standard's Summer Plaza restaurant. Wes is known for his intricate drawings of American iconography and for this he chose a potpourri of Native American and classic Americana. Sadly, the threads aren't for sale as we made them just for the staff at the plaza. But maybe, one day, we'll give in to the demands of capitalistic consumerism and sell them at the shop. Ya never know.
Inspiration: Pablo Picasso and Edward Quinn.
