We catch up with NY DJ Qu, before he returns to Le Bain to play alongside Son Of Sound, on Friday, April 27th.
LE BAIN: It's been two years since last time we chatted and it was all about New York’s house renaissance. It seems like that renaissance actually happened and the dance music scene is doing great in NYC, much better than a few years ago. Do you agree?
DJ QU: Definitely agree. NYC is booming right now. There are so many venues happening at the moment to the point where I haven't been able to visit them all just yet and I hear there are more venues on the way. This is a good thing.

What’s up with your label, Strength Music Recordings?
Strength Music is still doing good. We're about to hit are 13th year in operation. The label just put out a new release this week, Smr-018's "Various". Ask for it at the shops!
What’s something you've learned about DJing since the last time we chatted?
I wouldn't say I learned something new since the last time we chatted, but I would say that the importance of the DJ being themselves and not following trends is more relevant than ever in my opinion. I've always had that outlook, but it's definitely more the case in today's times than ever before.
