First things first, what are you drinking?
Not really drinking much, but when I do I prefer tequila drinks or whiskey on the rocks. I’m not to be trusted with recipes.
Seat at the bar or a quiet table in the corner?
I’m a table guy, but I also like to stand around and look confused.
Who’s playing in your ideal hotel bar (live or DJ)?
Ideally the Hotel bar has a white grand piano, potentially with some Liberacesque ornamentation. I’d enjoy Richard Clayderman doing easy digestible classical pieces sprinkled with some Hollywood flourishes, or Brian Culbertson playing from the great slimy book of smooth jazz.
Do you ever strike up a conversation with strangers?
Yes. I love to engage in a superficial chat here and there.

What’s your preferred bar snack?
Generally bar snacks are a bit dangerous for me, my hand just guides itself towards the salty stuff especially if I’m intoxicated. But I can definitely get behind a little bowl of fancy olives.
