Sayonara, 2014. What a year…the things we did! The people we met! Next year is shaping up to be at least 6x busier so prepare yourself — in fact, you should probably just go ahead and start hydrating now.
In true Standard Style, we sent 2014 off with a bang, or a boom, depending on your point of view with multiple celebrations in LA and New York topped with a spine-tingling set by British breakout Rita Ora at The Top of the Standard at The Standard, High Line.
Ora dominated this year — on screens big and small as well as billboards worldwide. Before serenading our black tie extravaganza last night where she performed jazz renditions of "Black Widow," "How We Do," and "I Will Never Let You Down," we caught up with Miss Ora to find out what gifts she received this year and what gifts are still to come. Happy New Year, all!
