Brag a little. What does Dubai love about SEVA Experience?
The vibes, the food, the setting, the wellness services, the classes, the products on shelves…all in one space. SEVA is a place that offers something to everybody and touches aspects of life with authenticity and richness.
It seems like everyone’s talking about wellness. Describe what the word means to SEVA…
Wellness is about living a healthy balanced life in harmony with nature.
What inspired your journey to The Standard, Maldives?
I love island life, I am Mediterranean so sun, sand and water are my best fuel. When The Standard contacted us we were beyond joyous for the possibilities to share our offerings in such a beautiful setting compared to how we run our workshops and circles at SEVA in Dubai.
The takeover falls on International Women’s Day, and this year’s theme is #EmbraceEquity. How will this journey encourage guests to #EmbraceEquity in their day-to-day life?
The more intimate you are with yourself the more universal you become, and our work brings self awareness to a deeper level that allows subtle yet radical movements in the way we see and interact with the surrounding. We are our relations and this is the basis of how the inner work reflects on the outside.
How do you hope people will feel upon leaving the takeover?
More in their body and out of their mind.
