We were so excited when we discovered our (and your) new favorite Swedish band, Immanu El, that we couldn't resist booking them for The Standard, Hollywood's Desert Nights this Wednesday. STANDARD: How about starting off by telling us a bit about where you’re from and how you got into music?Immanu El: We are founded in a small village in southern Sweden during our years in high school. In one way or another we've always been playing music in different ways and constellations.

Touring Asia or running from a suspected serial killer in England.
Does The Standard, Hollywood's Desert Nights’ intimacy and relaxed vibe influence what you play and your overall sound?
