Way back in 2000, in the desperate moments before an editorial deadline, the suffix "ing" was added to the word "food" and a new title was born, one that rhymes with feeling. Whether the Parisians behind Le Fooding magazine were successful in creating a new word or not remains to be seen, but they've certainly created a great guide to navigating the gastronomic universe of Paris.
Le Grand Fooding Crush Paris-L.A. is their two-day extravaganza at MOCA in L.A., featuring eleven chefs — including our own, Carolynn Spence of Chateau Marmont — fine Champagne, gutsy fromages, acclaimed DJs and graphic designers, guaranteed to nourish your senses while doing a bit of good. Twenty percent of all ticket sales benefit L.A. Food Bank & MOCA.
