It All Started at a Full Moon Party
Most of us leave Koh Phangan with a sunburn and a hangover; DJ Orawan left with a calling. The Full Moon Party was her gateway into the world of DJing.
New Zealand Hooked Her on Drum & Bass
DJ Orawan moved to New Zealand in 2002 and fell right into the drum and bass scene. By 2004, she was making a name for herself behind the decks.
She Launched a Crazy Club Night
In 2007, she started KINETIC at Auckland’s FUBAR. It was a scene for top-tier local talent and packed dance floors.
She Knows Bangkok (And the Festival Circuit)
Her return to Bangkok in 2010 included residencies at Bed Supperclub, one of the world’s most acclaimed hotspots. She played to 300,000 at the Honda Music Festival, rocked the Paradise Island Festival and the Holi Festival in Nepal. In 2016, Orawan became the first female Thai DJ to perform at Gravity – Arcadia.
She’s Played With the Best
DJ Orawan’s shared the stage with Gorillaz, Deadmau5, Fatboy Slim, and Pendulum. Not to brag.
