Sommelier Jordan Dobie and Chef Nandakumar Dharuman take the stage.

Dobie’s wine list for the night will champion vibrant European and Australian labels, while the four-course dinner by our very own chef will focus on elevated fare such as seafood bruschetta with lobster, slow-roasted veal loin with osso buco ravioli, and Brittany sablé with blackberries and raspberry compote for dessert.

About Jordan Dobie
Meet Jordan, who joins us all the way from the vibrant city of Cape Town, South Africa. His passion for wine blossomed during his Marketing studies in Stellenbosch, leading him to work at several esteemed estates in the Western Cape. With a wealth of experience, Jordan is eager to share his love for wine with all our guests in the Maldives.

About Chef Nandakumar Dharuman
Meet Nandakumar Dharuman, our Executive Chef at The Standard, Maldives. With a specialty in fine dining, fusion, sous-vide, and molecular cuisine, Chef Nandakumar brings a rich expertise in European, American, Mexican, Asian, Indian, Arabic, and Japanese cuisines. His impressive achievements include being a three-time top gold medalist at the Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge in 2016 and 2018.
