Part-Time Marketing Coordinator
We are looking for a sharp, creative, dynamic, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator with a strong focus on social media and content creation. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing to drive our brand's digital presence, enhance online engagement, and contribute to various aspects of strategic marketing and event planning. You will create content for the property’s social media platforms, and other communication channels while ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience for both existing and potential guests.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media & Content Creation
- In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, you will support with a robust content strategy that aligns with the hotel's brand, generating compelling content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest. Manage content calendars, including the planning and scheduling of posts, stories, and campaigns.
- Create original content (images, videos, copy) that engages and resonates with the audience. Capture real-time content for events: Spa, F&B, Membership, and Marketing
- Monitor trends in the digital space and incorporate relevant content to keep the hotel's social media channels fresh and engaging.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to generate digital content promoting hotel events and experiences, including photography, video production, and written copy.
- Track social media and content performance across all platforms, utilizing analytics tools to measure engagement and adapt strategies for continuous growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on analytics to improve content effectiveness and audience interaction. Knowledge of Latr, Facebook Business, and Google Business is desirable
Website & Digital
- Maintain and update the hotel’s website with timely content, event details, promotions, and packages.
- Ensure consistency across all online listings, including Google, TripAdvisor, and third-party platforms.
- Support all departments with uploading their monthly events (Eventbrite, Peoplevine)
- Upload and distribute e-blasts, member newsletters, and promotional content that align with marketing goals and promote upcoming events, specials, and packages.
Design
- Assist in creating engaging online invitations, event recaps, and promotions for social media channels and email marketing.
- Assist the team in gathering content for the monthly newspaper.
- Knowledge of print production is a must. marketing collateral, including digital designs for promotional materials, ads, and social media posts.
- Use design programs like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva to create visually appealing content for campaigns.
Collaborations & Partnerships
- Support the Membership Team in cultivating promotional events and brand partnerships that align with the hotel’s image.
- Collaborate with Membership, Public Relations, and Corporate Marketing teams for cross-collaboration on digital platforms that enhance brand visibility.
Administrative Support
- Assist in managing the marketing department’s invoices and vendor payments.
- Handle administrative tasks related to event and promotion planning.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation, and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Digital/Social ( Google Business, Facebook Business, Latr, CRM, Mobile Applications )
- Photography and Video background.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Creative, with an eye for detail and design.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
Desirable
- Marketing, Public Relations, or Mass Communication Degree.
- Experience with influencer partnerships, digital advertising, and SEO practices.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
- Fluency in more than one language is a plus.
- Flexibility in working weekends or evenings on limited occasions associated with special events
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 10 pounds as necessary.
- Must be able to use a computer and sit for extended periods to perform duties.
- Occasional need for physical activity during events, including setting up and breaking down event materials.
WORK AREA:
- Executive Office and various hotel areas including the hotel’s events and dining spaces.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital media, preferably with a focus on social media management and content creation.
- Experience in the hospitality or events industry is a plus.
Education:
- College degree or in the process of completing an undergraduate degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Art/Design or related field.
