Responsibilities:
Partnerships and Programming
- Discover new & nurture existing relationships with local partners that bring both culturally relevant and brand-aligned events and activations to the hotel that create ancillary revenue, grow audience, introduce the brand to new guests and create press value.
- Have a strong understanding and influence within the social and cultural scene in Singapore and beyond. Together with the Culture & Music Manager, acts as a cultural ambassador for the hotel to continue to create activations and partnerships that make The Standard, Singapore a cultural hub and leader within the industry.
- Oversee the local execution of large-scale brand collaborations.
- Manage communication, promotion, and invite lists for key programming events.
- Field and analyse new events and partnership requests for initial review.
Social Media/website maintenance
- Oversees all digital media presence and content for hotel: company's website, third-party sites, OTA visuals/copy.
- Oversee all social media initiatives for the hotel & F&B on Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and efforts alongside with the Corporate team
- Regularly monitor and update all Events, Specials, Packages and hotel information on the hotel website
Promotions/email marketing
- Work with Sales and other departments to regularly create packages, promotions, and offers in order to ensure hotel meets revenue and reaches new audiences while maintaining brand standards.
- Manage all promotional packages/campaigns including requesting for creatives, drafting the communication plan and recap analysis.
- Work with Corporates' digital marketing teams to manage all digital marketing efforts, including PPC and other conversion driven digital advertisements
- Support F&B department with promotion creation, execution and communications and digital presence for all F&B venues.
Public Relations / Photoshoot
- Oversee all hotel's Media/Public Relations requests and is the official spokesperson of the hotel.
- Build and execute a yearly/quarterly/monthly KOL Plan.
- Write press releases and distributes to all appropriate publications.
- Build and execute a yearly/quarterly/monthly Public Relations plan.
- Work directly with Public Relations companies to ensure all daily hotel's initiatives in terms of Hotel, F&B operations and activations are communicated in a timely manner.
- Oversee all corporate image and film shoot requests and work with Corporate office for approval and execution at the hotel. Work directly with the relevant departments to effectively execute the shoot and all its needs.
- Scheduling and maintaining photography for hotel's events and updated stock images working alongside corporate brand and art direction teams.
General/Collateral/Administrative
- Oversee and be accountable for hotel's programming, marketing, advertising and corporate image budgets.
- Work with Corporate office to ensure inclusion of all major hotel activities on Standard Culture and Instagram channels. Communicate and educate all corporate office initiatives to the hotel.
- Generate comprehensive recaps for key initiatives.
- Oversee all hotel communication (EDMs, digital media, etc.) – work in parallel with the in-house design team, respective department and the corporate office.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in the hotel industry in the same capacity
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Must possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Posses superb understanding of the Public Relations/Media landscape
- Strong local connection within Singapore’s cultural industries (music, art, film, fashion, etc.)
- Work well under pressure and attention to detail
