Annie's Ibiza isn’t just any shop—it’s a spot where sustainable fashion and standout style come together. Ahead of the limited collection launch in collaboration with Conner Ives at The Standard, Ibiza, we caught up with the person behind it all, Annie Doble, to talk about her passion for planet-friendly fashion and what it’s like running one of Ibiza’s most unique boutiques. Here’s a peek into the world of Annie’s Ibiza...
Why Ibiza? What drew you to the island?
The freedom, the adventure, it just felt right in my heart to be here.Ibiza is a melting pot of art and music. How do these cultural elements influence the style at Annie’s Ibiza? Can you share an example of a collaboration or event that showcased this?
I recently collaborated with Conner Ives designing 13 one of one dresses using my personal archive of piano shawls dating back to 1890. A nod to our Spanish influence, we wanted to capture the magic of Ibiza making them into the perfect mini party dresses, finished with hand embroidered florals. We enjoyed a special evening celebrating the launch on the The Standard rooftop!
Sustainability is becoming increasingly important in the fashion industry. How do you integrate eco-conscious practices into your store, and what advice would you give to fashion lovers who want to shop more sustainably?
Your store has a reputation for creating memorable shopping experiences. Can you recount a particularly memorable interaction with a customer that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Annie's Ibiza?
There are just too many to mention! Every interaction with a client is memorable, I get happy tears, lots of screams and jumping around when clients see the shop for the first time! Whether it’s Naomi Campbell, Margot Robbie or Kate Moss in store, it’s always a great experience.
If The Standard, Ibiza were an Annie’s Ibiza piece, which would it be?
A very fun mini party dress!
What’s next for Annie’s Ibiza?
We have so many exciting projects coming up for this year! I’m currently working on my 4th collection that will be launching in February!
