Anyone who really follows this stuff has probably seen the following mini-doc on the 12-year anniversary of DFA records ... but those of you who haven't are in for a real treat. It tells the story of the origins of the disco punk scene at the turn of the last century, and its evolution from a small bar in the East Village to international, genre-defining prestige. We'll go out on a limb and call this the most entertaining and informative music documentary ever made about the Aughts, which is quite a feat considering it's only 13 minutes and 25 seconds long. DFA Records, we love you. We salute you. But most of all, we thank you for the music. See you at Le Bain.
