The Rooftop at The Standard, London is the moment! On Sunday, April 16th we celebrated the reopening of the 11th-floor hotspot with sets from Lakuti, Bobby Beethoven, and Shy One with an epic surprise live performance from Kelela. Our friends in attendance included Bimini Bon Boulash, Ashley Roberts, Lou Teasdale, Raven Smith, Kai-Isaiah Jamal, Harry Lambert, Annie Mac and Ib Kamara.
In an all-black ensemble, complete with bug-eye sunglasses and elbow-length latex gloves, Kelela performed three ethereal tracks from the custom-built stage above the enthralled crowd.
Tastes from the new Rooftop food truck, BUNS, were served to guests, including Hoisin Duck, Chasu Pork Belly and Oyster Mushroom Bao Buns. Bottomless Ciroc Cosmos, Mules and Kamikazes flowed from the bars looking out across the sweeping city views.
