Meet Chef
Chef Peter Lai:
Peter Lai started cooking while most kids we’re still out on the playground. Hailing from Guangzhou, China, Chef Peter moved to Hong Kong and got his first job in a kitchen at the ripe age of 17. In 1982, he moved up in the ranks at the famous Lei Garden Restaurant before taking his high-end Chinese cuisine to the international stage. From Kuwait to Korea and Australia, his dishes have been savored all over the world. Today, Chef Peter is ready to cook up a storm on his next stage, The Standard, Hua Hin.
Chef Jacky:
From Bangkok to New York, Chef Jacky is no stranger to the inner workings of kitchens across the globe. Having worked under some of the world’s most celebrated chefs, his skills cover a wide variety of techniques, ingredients, and cuisines. You may have sampled some of Chef Jacky’s dishes in notable hotels from the W Bangkok to the Conrad Bangkok Hotel, but get ready to see his skills like never before at The Standard, Hua Hin.
