The stars aligned across continents late last week when both The Standard, London and The Standard, East Village celebrated rising artists in photography and film.
At Decimo, Vanity Fair hosted its annual BAFTA EE Rising Star Party, where 2020 nominees Kaitlyn Dever, Jack Lowden and Micheal Ward were joined by actors, filmmakers and producers to celebrate and revel late into the night with sets by DJ Henri, Yinka Bokinni, and Arielle Free.
Just 24 hours later at NO BAR, photographer and filmmaker Tyler Mitchell celebrated his first solo US exibition, I Can Make You Feel Good, now on display at The International Center of Photography (ICP)'s new Lower East Side location. Along with his family and close friends, Mitchell brought a dynamic crowd of artists, musicians, and creatives to the bar to sip on custom cocktails like "Chasing Pink," named after one of his works, and dance to beats by Oscar Nñ.
Check out highlights from both events below.
